MCT50

The MCT50 is a 5 mL microcentrifuge tube covering the gap between standard 2 mL microtubes and 15 mL conical tubes — the format of choice when sample volumes exceed microcentrifuge capacity but a 15 mL tube would waste reagent or require inconvenient adapters. Its attached locking snap cap eliminates cap loss during high-speed runs and repeated freeze-thaw cycles, while the conical bottom geometry enables efficient pellet recovery even at small sample volumes.
